Current Thursdays @ Mud Creek families will be given first priority for registration beginning February 14, 2018.
Open enrollment for new families will begin February 19, 2018.
Deposits are paid online for Art Classes at time of registration.
Early Enrollment deposits should be given to the teacher or mailed by February 18, 2018, to secure your registration before open enrollment begins.

Scribbles (K-1st Grade) Jana HakeScribbles class will have all new lessons, stories, and projects for the 2018-2019 school year.
Squish, build, scribble and experiment with doughs and paints galore! We will create artwork together using all your senses with hands-on sensory expression. We will incorporate literature by reading a story and then creating art based on the theme the story established. From painting, printmaking to pastels, your little artist will learn the fundamentals of art while focusing on the process, not just the product. Join the fun and dress for mess and artistic success! |

Pinterest Art: (Grades 2-5) Jana HakePinterest class will have all new lessons and projects for the 2018-2019 school year.
Do you have a whole Pinterest Board designated to Art full of great ideas that you have pinned and never gotten to? We all have good intentions but how many of us really have all the supplies on hand, the time, or even the expertise to pull them all off? Well, I do, and I love to make art with your students! This class is designed for creating really cool art and understanding how we can inspire with our creativity. We will talk about the elements and principles of art as we work, but the goal of this class will be to make colorful show-stopping artwork! |

We will learn about the great artists and their fantastic art styles all while creating our own art! We will also learn a variety of painting techniques while creating canvas paintings. Together, we will walk through the creative process to build your artistic confidence to draw, paint, design and sculpt your very own creations. |

Studio Art (Grades 9-12) Jana HakeStudio Art class will have all new lessons and projects for the 2018-2019 school year. Studio Art is for those who love to draw, paint, and sculpt! In the Studio, we will explore advanced approaches to expand your creativity and artistic skills. You will gain drawing, painting, and sculpting confidence and inspiration as we look at the history of great art. We’ll work from still life, photos, and your imagination. Using a variety of materials including graphite, pen & ink, charcoal, oil pastel, colored pencil, acrylic paint, canvas and a variety of sculpting materials we will work through exciting and engaging art projects. |

Paint Party (Grades 8 and up) Jana HakeCome paint and have fun with us once a month as we create a variety of acrylic paintings on 16 x 20 stretched canvases. The paint party concept is all the rage because anyone can do it (no experience needed)! In this relaxed environment, everyone will work on the same painting while I demonstrate and instruct step by step the process for each painting. You will learn a variety of painting techniques while creating your own canvas paintings throughout the year. So grab your friends and come have a great time painting! |
